Just in time for New York Comic Con 2017, The Hip-Hop And Comics Show is a pop-up art show curated by Patrick A. Reed, editor of Depth Of Field Magazine. The exhibition depicts the ties between comics and Hip-Hop culture through original artwork from the last five decades, and features pieces by a number of notable comic creators, street artists, graphic designers, and animators.
The exhibit will be up from Friday, October 6th to Tuesday, October 17th at Wall Works New York, just off the 6 Train, one stop away from Manhattan. All hip-hop and comic lovers are invited – please come check it out, and tell all your friends!
NOTE: If you’d like to attend the Opening Reception (on Friday, October 6th, from 7pm-10pm), and enjoy a first look at the show, music from some of NYC’s finest DJs, and complimentary beverages (compliments of Diageo Reserve and Laugunitas Brewing Co.), please email hiphopandcomicsshow@gmail.
