In conjunction with the 2017 East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention (ECBACC), the 6th Annual Africoz Cosplay event will be held on Saturday, May 20th. Africoz celebrates the cosplay activities of African Americans and those of African descent, while highlighting their contributions to this ever growing field of fandom.

In conjunction with the ECBACC festivities, Africoz will host a costume contest, where one lucky cosplayer will walk away with a $200 grand prize. The event will be sponsored by BlackSci-Fi.com, and will feature a whose who of awesome cosplayers.

In conjunction with the Africoz event, veteran cosplayer Bill Johnson will host The Super Powered Cosplay Panel, which will give convention visitors a chance to hear from some of the cosplay industries best performers.
