We here at BlackSci-Fi.com are extremely hyped to see Star Thieves come to fruition. Long in production, the proejct looks to combine epic space opera storytelling, with an Afrofuturistic aesthetic. From the website: “A young priest is pulled into an adventure a thousand years in the making as he discovers he is a member of a tribe of nomadic aliens who are caught between a decision to devour our sun and doom humanity or risk their own lives to save us from an alien threat. “Star Thieves” is an original sci-fi web series created by and starring people of color. It showcases not only a unique point of view, but provides representation to the speculative genre, which holds so much rich promise for diversity.
