Story

Shadows of the Ancient is a story about bravery, discovery, and loyalty among friends. In the second book of the Adventures of Nakoa and Nohea series, we join these fun-loving kids on their latest expedition through the sacred waterways of majestic Wailua. New friends join the fun as we mix fantasy elements inspired by some of our favorites like Lord of the Rings and Avatar. We explore Hawaiʻiʻs moʻo, the guardians of our islandsʻ water sources, who often manifest as giant lizards or beautiful women.
