Black Sci-Fi Convention

Inaugural Black Sci-Fi Convention Postponed to Fall 2022

It is with much thought and consideration that Creative Waters Media Group, LLC, Owner and Operator of Black Sci-Fi.com and Black Science Fiction Convention, have decided to postpone our inaugural Black Science Fiction Convention originally scheduled for August 1 & 2, 2020 in Philadelphia, PA.

Although we had a lot of great guests, vendors and activities planned, the health and safety of our guests, vendors, and staff are most important to us. Therefore, due to the uncertainty this pandemic has presented, we believe it is best to wait out the current COVID-19 Pandemic situation and promote that our supporters stay home and stay well.

We are currently working with our hosting hotel to secure a new date for the fall of 2022. We are also planning a virtual convention for October 2020 during Black Speculative Fiction month. We will provide more details about that event soon.

We understand that times are difficult and uncertain for everyone and as we move forward we hope that those of you who planned to attend this year will move forward with us to next year. Finally, all current ticket holders and confirmed vendors will receive an email as to their options.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to hosting you at the rescheduled convention in 2021.

If you are a vendor or ticket holder who has questions, please contact blackscificon@gmail.com.
