Cannon Busters Drops in 2019!

We’ve kept a pretty watchful eye on any news regarding animator extraordinaire LeSean Thomas’ (Creator / Director / Executive Producer) upcoming anime series  Cannon Busters. The series is scheduled to be released through Netflix, and the writing team includes such creative talents as Natasha Allegri (Creator of Bee & Puppycat), Anne Toole (Writer’s Guild nominee for “The Witcher” video game), Nilah Magruder (M.F.K. web series) and LeSean Thomas, among others. The story editor is Matt Wayne, (Justice League Unlimited, Niko & The Sword of Light).

During the recent NETFLIX❤ANIME panel at Anime Expo on 7/5/18, it was announced the Cannon Busters would release all 12 episodes on March 1, 2019. BlackSci-Fi.com will be ready for an epic binge session as soon as it drops.

As reported by Netflix, “Created, directed and executive produced by LeSean Thomas (Children of Ether), the series follows the adventures and exploits of S.A.M, a high-end, royal-class friendship droid who’s joined by a quirky, discarded maintenance robot and a brash, deadly fugitive. Together, the unlikely trio embarks on an unforgettable journey in a fantastic and dangerous world in search of S.A.M’s best friend, the heir to a powerful kingdom under siege. Twelve episodes are being produced by Manga Entertainment Ltd, Nada Holdings and Satelight (Macross Delta).
