Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman, The Get Down) is in talks to star as Candyman in the upcoming reboot of the film according to Variety.com. Directed by Nia DaCosta (Little Woods) and produced by Jordan Peele (Us, Get Out) according to Variety.com, the film will be a “spiritual successor” to the original film.
