CBS Access has released the first behind the scenes footage of Star Trek: Discovery Season 2, in a production start announcement video. In the video you hear clips from Star Trek mainstays like Spock, Christopher Pike, and Michael Burnham in the first look at the upcoming season. We also get what looks like a glimpse of new Starfleet uniforms, a new starship bridge, new aliens, and possibly Anson Mount as  Captain Pike, who is the Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise prior to James T. Kirk taking over the vessel.
