On The Blerdar: The Atlanta Science Fiction and Fantasy Expo

March 7, 2019

If you’re in the metro Atlanta area, and are looking for a free pop culture convention to head to this weekend, look no further than the Atlanta Science Fiction and Fantasy Expo.

From the website: ASFE’s showrunners are all life-long fans of all things geeky and wanted to provide an opportunity for the community to experience a full-scale fan event without some of the typical expenses. Now in its fifth year, the Expo will again celebrate pop culture creators with a family-friendly event at North DeKalb Mall. Artists, writers, actors, game designers, animators, modelers, cosplayers, content developers, and fans will gather to share their craft, instruct and inspire others to explore their own fannish interests. Held March 9 – 10, 2019, the two-day event features panels, workshops, gaming tournaments, live entertainment and a Vendor Hall/Artist’s Alley. The event is free and open to the public!

BlackSci-Fi.com contributing writer William Satterwhite and editor in chief Robert Jeffrey II will be in attendance, representing the website. Check out their panel BlackSci-Fi.com: A Look Back and Forward.
