Spirit’s Destiny – Ongoing Comic Series

Writer/Creator Dorphise Jean has been developing the story of Spirit’s Destiny for multiple years. As a Haitian female, Dorphise wanted to bring the first Haitian female-led comic to the masses with the release of the first issue in the series.

While essentially successful in that effort with the release of issue #1 following a successful Kickstarter, Dorphise focused on making the already well-received comic even better by signing on with Short Fuse Fuse Media Group and revamping the production team to consist of an all black female ensemble with the talents of Julie Anderson handling ALL art duties and Lashawn Colvin overseeing the project as the editor as a means of making the series as authentic as possible. Together, their work on continuing the story has led to the completion of a stellar second issue in the series!!!
